Wrasslin’ Noir Recap 10/19

There was little comic relief for Dezmond Xavier and the Rascalz for a change. The Desi Hit Squad came calling for a 3 on 3 match that was nothing more than a show case for the Squad. All three Rascalz were ran through before the closing bell. C

The reunion of former partners, Moose and Stephan Bonnar, was a bloodbath somewhat. Moose triggered the DQ taking his issues with Ken Shamrock out on Bonnar. Ken came to the rescue and slapped an ankle lock on the Bound for Glory opponent. B-

They were booked in a Number One Contender’s match for the North American Championship. The much acclaimed rubber match would have no outcome following a chair shot from the champ, but not before Lee and foe did the dirty work to entertain the masses. Just like that, there is triple threat championship match on the horizon. A-

It’s back to the cheerleading role for a former WWE Champ in Kofi Kingston. He sat ringside while his New Day comrades joined Heavy Machinery to take on the SmackDown Tag champions, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode. There’s nothing much to note here; the faces won and the danced to hype the crowd. C
