Wrasslin’ Noir Recap 2/8

Friday Night SmackDown

Fresh off a series of returns at Royal Rumble, the Women’s Champion, Bayley, is gloating about defeating the women of the SmackDown division. The night was made to set up the title contest for the next Saudi event that is rapidly approaching. Seemingly out of nowhere, three competitors were mashed together to contend for a shot at Brock Lesnar and the WWE Championship. Bobby Lashley is finally away from the snoozefest that was he and Rusev; he would join Seth Rollins and Ricochet, who is the only one not currently involved in a program coming into the night. There was an attempt to drum up some hype for a Lashley vs. Lesnar match, but it was kind of obvious that Ricochet was getting the nod. B

The promotion is back in Mexico, and things pick up in the midst of a rivalry involving the spear-heads, Moose and Rhino. Rhino marches out to face another animal of a man, Taurus. The Mexican fans got the service they needed from these massive gents, but shiny clothes wearing Moose had to make his way to interfere with his former opponents prompting them with the opportunity to align and dispose of him. B
