Wrasslin’ Noir Recap 6/6

Impact

The constant agitator, Moose, is still carrying the TNA Heavyweight Title even though he was eliminated from the number one contender tournament some time ago. With that, he continues to be a thorn in the side of the finalist to let them know that he is the one true champion. A-

Kiera Hogan, no longer following Madison Rayne, has teamed up with Tasha Steelz to wreak havoc on the Knockouts Division. The duo pestered Kaylee Ray and Susie up to the point just before Su Yung could resurface and walked away with a victory and a grand celebration. A

Dynamite

The return of Big Swole was a bit bittersweet. She has maintained a top-five ranking among the women, but it was Nyla Rose exercising her frustration at losing the title who took this match. Swole gave her some of that work before falling victim to the Native Beast. She was then interrupted by Britt Baker during the post-match interview to plant some seeds for future conflict once Baker returns from injury. B-

The ever-present and always helpful, New Day found a new white guy to jive with them after coming to Shorty G’s aid backstage. The three men met Mojo, Shinsuke, and Cesaro in a conflict settling tag match. Shorty ended up relying on the champs to get his retribution in the form of Kofi Kingston scoring the match sealing pin. B

Just when it seemed that more distrust was being built between Sasha Banks and Bayley, they found themselves in a tag title match against Alexa and Nikki. One would figure the champs would retain given Banks pinned Alexa a week earlier, but it was not the case as Sasha once again shouldered the load for her friend and regained the titles that they won first. With Asuka joining Bayley as Grand Slam Champion, it’s probably a matter of time before Sasha gets that stripe added considering Charlotte isn’t much of a tag performer. A-
